Confirmation for Adults: The past
few years have seen a growing number of adult Catholics who have not
received the sacrament of Confirmation. The reasons for the omission are
many and varied. For some, it seems that it was a matter of being in a
family that moved around a lot. They were often in the right place at the
wrong time. Confirmation is one of the sacraments of Initiation. Through
baptism, confirmation and communion, one is fully initiated into the
family of the Church.
