TO ALL ADULT PARISHIONERS:
We, as a parish, have been blessed
to have wonderful volunteers to serve as Catechists for our Liturgy of the
Word for Children program for pre-school through grade 6. There has always
been a need for more volunteers and we are finding this to be especially
true at this time.
We have 23 Catechists at Sacred
Heart and 13 Catechists at St. Jude. 8 Catechists are needed each Sunday
at Sacred Heart and 4 Catechists are needed each Sunday at St. Jude. We’re
sure you can quickly see how someone can burn out because we need them to
serve repeatedly in order to conduct our LOW program at each Mass.
Please take some time to
prayerfully consider joining in this ministry. You don’t have to be a
theologian — just willing to share your faith with our children. If you
have any questions about what’s required, please contact Debbie or Ann at
