High School Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry Group is Fundraising for our annual Youth Ministry Mission Trip.

Sacred Heart Parish Youth Ministry has registered with Shaw’s Supermarkets Community Rewards Program!

By just shopping as usual, you have the opportunity to support our fundraising efforts to send members of our Youth Ministry program (Middle School and High School) on Community Service Mission Trips. This year we will be taking our third trip….this time back to York, PA.

Words cannot express what a positive experience this Mission Trip is for all who participate. We learn hands-on about helping others as Jesus taught, and build community within our group…it’s awesome!

All you need to do is go to: www.albertsons.com/cp/shaws/

On the screen that comes up…click on “Shoppers – login or register…”

Next screen will prompt you to enter your Shaw’s Reward Card # (found on back of card)…and if you don’t have a Shaw’s Reward Card, you can sign up to get one! And, you need to enter your phone number.

You’ll then be prompted to Support an Organization…to find us, you will need to type in: Sacred Heart Parish…and then enter Maine under State. That should bring you to us…Sacred Heart Parish ~ ~ Youth Ministry Mission Trip. You click on the box shown to select us as an organization to support

Then, you’ll be asked to enter our Community Rewards Organization ID Number…it is: 49001021994.

What happens after that is when you shop at Shaw’s on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday and you use your Shaw’s Reward Card, 10% of your total purchase (excluding discounts, sales tax, and coupons) goes toward our organization! We all have to shop, right? And to think…just by shopping you can help our youth serve others in need!

For any other information on this program, you can look within the Shaw’s site. All questions can be answered there!

(Debbie Gagnon, our Youth Minister is the only one who will see only YOUR NAME and TOTAL QUARTERY CONTRIBUTION. No other personal information is shared with anyone else. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact her at 846-5584.)

Teen Choir has begun its new season! If you are a 7-12th grader, male or female, and would like to participate or would like information about our Teen Choir, please contact Ron, Sacred Heart Music Director at 846-6020. Please consider coming to make music and to meet our new Teen Choir Director, Amanda Mahaffey. An invitation is extended to youth from all parishes in our cluster.

We hope all teens will come and enjoy an evening together and learn what Youth Ministry has to offer families.

We will be meeting on Sunday evenings in the Sacred Heart hall 6:30-800pm. .
